Yedidim's programs are being strengthened in light of its growing number of friends around the world with the creation of the American Friends of Yedidim in Los Angeles and in New York.  Individuals in the field of education, health care, social work, entertainment and business help raise awareness and funds for Yedidim's programs as well as provide Yedidim with professional consultation.  AFY has recently been recognized as a 501 (C) 3 corporation.
